The most celebrated holiday in the Netherlands is the king’s day. Celebrations are held every year in April in honor of the king. People celebrate with the king’s night event held on the night before the actual day. Most buildings and streets are decorated with orange cloth cuttings that are ducked around the cities. People are also dressed in orange-colored clothes. For the royal family, they parade in horses through the Hague.
